The process includes:

  • Menu & Recipe Development: Menu structure, recipe testing, and suggested pricing.

  • Ambience & Design: Interior design direction and menu design that align with your concept identity.

  • Service Model: Crafting the complete guest experience, from arrival to payment, with a focus on hospitality flow and operational efficiency.

  • Market Research: Competitive analysis, field testing, and insights on best practices, unmet market needs, and emerging opportunities.

  • Brand Development Referrals: Connections to leading branding partners to bring your vision to life.

Inception

Once a concept is chosen, we move into planning and execution. This phase transforms your idea into a fully mapped-out business plan.

I will:

  • Build timelines and critical task lists to manage all project milestones.

  • Create a financial model around your proposed budget, including forecasting tools and checkbook templates.

  • Oversee management hiring, from job descriptions and recruiting to interviews and final selection.

  • Assist in site selection and consult on lease terms, ensuring alignment with concept and budget.

  • Coordinate floor plan and kitchen design through vetted architects and designers, with equipment recommendations.

  • Provide General Contractor referrals and evaluate bids.

  • Deliver food cost and purchasing analyses, along with budget and inventory templates.

Ongoing Support

For clients seeking continued guidance through buildout and pre-opening, I offer extended support to ensure seamless execution.

My ongoing involvement includes:

  • Buildout Management: Liaising with contractors, tracking progress, and ensuring permit compliance.

  • Staff Hiring & Training: Recruiting both kitchen and front-of-house teams, developing SOPs, and conducting hands-on training with management.

  • Systems Infrastructure: Setting up POS systems, scheduling tools, recipe and prep templates, and organizational systems for day-to-day operations.

  • Purveyor Relations: Establishing supplier accounts and creating order guidelines for efficient purchasing.
